As a Senior Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer you will support a wide variety of rotating equipment across multiple production units. This role works within a maintenance organization that is managed by respected and well-liked Maintenance & Reliability Manager who is seeking to build up the reliability excellence approach at the site. You will gain a variety of experience and have good exposure to the Site Leadership Team. This role offers multiple growth paths up a technical or leadership track.
Creates and implements predictive and preventive maintenance strategies for rotating equipment
Leads the identification of critical equipment and critical spare equipment.
Leads and supports the use and implementation of FMEA and RCM.
Uses reliability analytical and statistical methods to predict and eliminate unplanned equipment failures.
Provide technical support to maintenance technicians, maintenance engineers and process engineers to solve chronic equipment reliability issues.
Leads Why Tree analysis for critical equipment failures
Collaborates with the Mechanical Integrity function to keep the site in compliance with process safety responsibilities.
Identifies and supports the implementation of capital improvements that will improve the overall life cycle cost and reliability of critical production equipment.
Follow MOC guidelines.
Mentors and supports the maintenance technicians and maintenance engineers
Works closely with process/production engineers, maintenance and manufacturing technicians in a collaborative environment.
BS ME and 7 or more years of experience in a chemical plant or refinery
