Reliability Engineer—Fixed Equipment #1183
LOCATION: Corpus Christi, TX
COMPENSATION: Base salary range is 90k to 115k
Our client is a leading refining and chemicals company who has gradually expanded its operations through capital projects and acquisitions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage reliability program improvement projects on fixed equipment.
- Develop Predicative Maintenance strategies and be able to facilitate root cause failure analysis of equipment and production issues.
- Trains and assists project engineers in use of equipment standards and ASME codes.
- Leads RCFA investigations for fixed equipment.
- Support the reliability area teams with troubleshooting, assessment, scoping, economic analysis and recommendations that optimize the life cycle value of the equipment
- Provide subject matter expert input, steering, and checking of projects.
- Knowledge and experience related to pressure vessels, piping, exchangers, and the factors that affect the reliability of fixed equipment.
- Knowledge of fitness-for-service principles as outline in API 579.
- API 510/571certifications a plus.
- AWS certification a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 15 years of experience in petrochemicals and/or refining
- Understanding of project execution
