Fixed Equipment Engineer #1150
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Salary: 90 – 120k base salary
Our client operates a petrochemical processing facility in the Baton Rouge area and is in need of an experienced Fixed Equipment Engineer who can provide a high level of technical expertise in a highly corrosive plant. The Fixed Equipment Engineer will provide technical coverage to a challenging area of the plant and will also provide support and mentoring to younger engineers within the department. This position will be responsible for all types fixed equipment and will encompass API 510, 570,571, 653. Due to the nature of the process, there will be technical challenges related to corrosion/metallurgy and the use of advanced alloys and materials of construction in the reactors, tanks, vessels and piping systems.
